I’ll be taking part in a Charity event on the night of the 5th March

The event is called the Big Basingstoke Sleep-out. It’s a event to raise funds and awareness for Julian House, a Basingstoke based homeless charity. They support vulnerable and at-risk individuals that include people experiencing homelessness, women and children escaping domestic abuse, adults with learning difficulties and people who need support after leaving prison.

For the Big Sleep-out event I’ll be joining many other participants in spending the night sleeping outside, although in our own gardens this year due to Covid-19, but there will be live streaming to connect the participants.

I’ve you would like to make a donation by sponsoring me, please follow this link to my Just Giving page:

I'll be taking part in the Chineham Scarecrow trail in July 2020, my entry will be based on my second book 'A purrfect day'. For more information click on the link below.

I've also been asked to judge the BDDF (Basingstoke and District Disability Forum) Scarecrow colouring competition, ahead of the Chineham Scarecrow Trail. I'll be donating one of my books as a prize. Click below for details on how to enter. Closing date for entries is the 26th of June.

Thank you and well done to all the wonderful competition entries. I've picked two winners in joint place: Jasmine's beautiful poem (age 8) and Bob's very creative Stingray (age 6).
